  1. Those Upper Montclair businesses are a rascally bunch. Give them an inch, and a variance, and they will take full advantage. The latest are the real estate signs in front of the houses. Legally, they’re fine if you are selling the house (Yeah, they get a little McMansion in size), but now agencies like Keller Williams are putting up advertising signs even if the house is not on the market. KW just moved to Up Mtc and wants to bring their brand of marketing to the 1st Ward.

Roberts Baldwin calls it “Coming Soon” on her sign advertising her services. That’s an illegal sign. Equivalent to a billboard.

Of course, I just can’t wait to see the listing! OMG, the tension is like awaiting the Games of Thrones. Many other agent’s signs go a step further and say, “too late, you should have come to me sooner! Here is my contact information when you get smart”. Actually, it just says “Under Contract”. Yes, the town also prohibits this because it is no different than a billboard.

Anyway, such a pretty weekend and just wanted to give a heads that all the lawn signs are in full bloom. There are amazing! Thanks all!
