Partners For Women and Justice Holds Annual Celebrate Hope Spring Benefit

More than 420 guests joined Partners for Women and Justice to “celebrate hope” at its Spring Benefit on May 1, 2019 at Mayfair Farms in West Orange. The event raised funds for free legal assistance for low-income victims and survivors of domestic violence and their children. The Pro Bono Team at Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C.; Sally Glick, CPA, the Chief Principal Strategist at SobelCo; and Jack Wurgaft, Esq., a partner at Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins were all honored at this year’s event.

Since its founding in 2003, Partners has helped thousands of victims and their children secure orders of protection, child support awards and safe visitation and custody arrangements. Partners’ programs provide technical and procedural advice, counsel and legal advice, pro bono legal representation and referrals. Partners strives to empower victims to assert control over their own lives and take steps to protect themselves and their children.
