APEM Creamery, Serving Yummy Gelato and Sorbet, Opens on Broad Street in Bloomfield

APEM Creamery, a sleek, minimalist spot for satisfying your sweet tooth, opened at 870 Broad Street (corner of Sunset Ave.) in Bloomfield. APEM serves up an inventive selection of gelato as well as sorbet, a boon for those wanting something dairy free.

Flavor change often, but on a recent visit, we sampled two tasty gelato flavors — Milky Darkness 42 Cacao and Goat’s Milk caramel — as well as two sorbet flavors, a tangy Rhubarb Vanilla and a rich Uber Chocolate 88 Cacao.

Come in and ask for a taste of any flavor.

APEM is owned by New Jersey native Alex Saneski, who got started making gelato and sorbet in New York City before opening Cremeux Ex Machina, a gelato spot in the San Francisco Bay area. Saneski returned to Jersey to open APEM Creamery.

APEM Creamery, 870 Broad Street, Bloomfield, Wednesday – Sunday: 1pm-10pm
