Missing Montclair Couple’s Jet Ski Recovered Near Guadeloupe

A Jet Ski used by a Montclair couple on vacation in Barbados was recovered over the weekend near Guadeloupe, but there is still no sign of the couple.

The recovered jet ski was found to have the same registration number as the one used by the couple, who rented it on Holetown Beach. It was found by French Navy officers, hundred of miles away in Guadeloupe, ABC News reports. The discovery of the jet ski occurred nearly two weeks after Oscar Suarez, 32, and Magdalena Devil, 25, went missing on June 24.

Authorities in Barbados had called off the search on Sunday, July 1 for the missing Montclair couple.

A GoFundMe page was started to assist the family with travel expenses and to continue search efforts in Barbados.
