A favorite climbing tree on the grounds of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Montclair has been decorated with flowers, photos, art work, handcrafted notes and sparking decorations to remember and honor Kaija Andersen, a rising second grader at Nishuane School.

Children and fellow Girl Scouts adorned the tree with decorations; a trunk at the foot of the tree, filled with materials to make decorations, has a message to help make the tree “shine and sparkle, allowing children to create and add their own special tribute.
