Giveaway! Mac Sabbath at the Wellmont Theater, August 27

Surging parody/tribute band, Mac Sabbath, is set to take the stage at northern New Jersey’s premier concert venue, the Wellmont Theater, on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 8 p.m. The group will unleash its underground parody metal sound in Montclair as it continues its 2019 “American Cheese Tour.”

So what is Mac Sabbath? It’s a Black Sabbath cover band that transforms the band’s biggest hits with lyrics that are focused squarely around fast food. The band’s particular genre is called “drive-thru metal.” Ozzy Osbourne himself is counted among the fans of this Los Angeles group. The band consists of identifiable front-man Ronald Osbourne, along with Slayer MacCheeze, Grimalice and Catburglar. Mac Sabbath continues to pioneer drive-thru metal, while joining and admonishing fast food culture. The group is known for tunes drawn from Black Sabbath hits, including “More Ribs,” “Pair-a-buns,” “Sweet Beef,” “Frying Pan” and more.
