Chelsea Handler To Discuss White Privilege and Self Discovery at Succeed2gether Fundraiser

Succeed2gether and S2G’s Montclair Literary Festival are excited to announce their Fall Fundraiser: Chelsea Handler in Conversation about her #1 New York Times bestseller “Life Will Be the Death of Me”, in which she shares the funny, sad, super-honest, all-true story of her year of self-discovery.

The fundraiser will raise money for Montclair-based non-profit Succeed2gether, which offers free community-based one-on-one tutoring and year-round enrichment classes for low-income families in Essex County. The money will be used to fund Succeed2gether’s programs, which are all aimed at closing the opportunity and achievement gap for students in Montclair and the surrounding communities. Founded in the winter of 2009, Succeed2gether is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year.

Handler will also be talking about her new Netflix documentary “Hello Privilege, It’s Me Chelsea”, in which she examines her own privilege as she travels around America and talks to other people about having (or not having) white privilege.

Each ticket includes a signed copy of the book “Life Will Be the Death of Me”. VIP ticket includes early access to the venue, signed book, and VIP seating.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
