Where do you live? I live in Montclair, right on Bloomfield Avenue.
When did you move there? My family has been living here since the early 80s. I was raised in Montclair.
How do you make a living? OR What is your everyday passion? I’m a cook for Hudson Table in Hoboken, and I also have my own business making southern dishes for locals. I love being a chef. It’s what I always wanted to be.
Coffee, tea or … ? I like iced coffee, but hot ginger lemon tea would be my first choice.
What’s your idea of a perfect weekend day?
What’s your favorite local restaurant? One of my favorite places to eat in Montclair would be Jefferson’s Cafe. There is always great food and good people working there.
What’s on your nightstand? CBD Oil is on my nightstand.
What are you listening to? A little of everything, from Jazz to Hip Hop to Old Punk Rock.
What are your current indulgences? I eat a lot of shellfish and butter.
What talent you would most like to have? To dress because I have no style. LOL.
What’s the worst-kept (or best-kept!) secret about Montclair (or your town)? Roberto’s Pizza in Lackawanna Plaza has one of the best Chicken Salads you will ever eat.
What do you hope they say about you at your funeral? That I loved my daughter Harmony, and that she would be proud of who her father was.
