The Bellevue Montclair Launches Website For Dine-In Theatre To Come

The Bellevue takes one step closer to opening by launching The news was announced via the theatre marquee, proving that they indeed are building it.

Proclaiming the theater as a locally-owned “cinematic destination,” The Bellevue Montclair website offers more details about the future of the 95-year-old theater, including the ability to order food, snacks, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages directly from a mobile device.

There’s also design inspiration for the lounge and seating, and the promise of “first run Hollywood studio movies, family films and select independent features.”

  1. Enough with the fanfare and proclamations, ad nauseum, about what a “cinematic destination” blahblah this is gonna be.

    The place has been closed for 2 years already. Supposedly, 2 more years to go. I don’t care what they open with: Just OPEN already.

  2. The last thing I read was that they were to open next month. Since the Council has not put their liquor license out to bid again, I assumed they decided a ways back to give it to these guys.
