Montclair Crime: Disturbing Vandalism At Two Montclair Schools

Vandalism
November 5, 2019 (Chestnut Street): An employee at Montclair High School reported that two swastika symbols and the word “cake” were found to be written in pencil on a table in the cafeteria.

November 5, 2019 (Cottage Place): An employee at Immaculate Conception High School reported that “You will all die” and “immaculate will die” were found written in blue marker in a stall in the third floor girl’s restroom.

November 6, 2019 (Upper Mountain Avenue): The complainant reports that she noticed the motion lights in her driveway were activated. When she checked her vehicle, she noticed multiple scratches to her vehicle that had not been there previously.

Thefts
November 5, 2019 (North Fullerton Avenue): The complainant reports that his gray Norco Ride bicycle, valued at $720, was stolen from the bicycle rack underneath the North Fullerton Parking Deck.

November 5, 2019 (Park Street): The complainant reports that his red 2019 Trek Roscoe bicycle, valued at $1,020, was stolen while locked to a bicycle rack.

November 7, 2019 (Bloomfield Avenue): An employee at the Shell gas station reports that a male stole approximately $2 in merchandise. A possible suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’9”, heavy set, last seen wearing a tan- colored coat.
