Where do you live? Bloomfield
When did you move there? I’ve lived in the area since 2010.
Where did you grow up? Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (or what we called it growing up, Ft. Liquordale!)
How do you make a living? OR What is your everyday passion?
I am professor and a Certified Transformational Breath® Facilitator. I hold a private practice for Transformational breath. I also hold events and workshops teaching people how to connect with their breath to remove emotional baggage, tap into their inner voice, and find their own truth and personal power. Transformational Breath® totally changed my life. I went from spending many years depressed and full of anxiety to that of peace, acceptance, and complete excitement for what is next in life!
Coffee, tea or … ? Tea! All kinds.
What’s your idea of a perfect weekend day? Sleeping in, meditation, making my boys pancakes when I have them (shared custody), and taking the dog for a hike in Eagle Rock Reservation.
What’s your favorite local restaurant? Le Salbuen in Montclair. I love the vegan menu!
What’s on your nightstand? Handmade “3 Kings Gold Oil” that my girlfriend gave me for the Holidays and Michael Brown’s book, “The Presence Process.”

What’s the worst-kept (or best-kept!) secret about Bloomfield?
Walking into the entrance of Watsessing park in Bloomfield (by the Children’s Museum) is glorious with the magnificent trees. It is almost like you are on a hike in the reservation.
What do you hope they say about you at your funeral? That I added a bit of light to this planet and made some people smile.
