Brookdale Artists Workshop Presents “Paintings and Drawings” at Montclair Public Library

The Montclair Public Library’s popular art series continues with the “Brookdale Artists Workshop” on view in the Montclair Public Library Gallery, 50 South Fullerton Avenue, during Library hours from December 1 – 29, 2019. An art reception is scheduled in the gallery for the artists on Sunday, December 8 from 2pm – 6pm.

As you walk through the gallery enjoy this eclectic exhibit that includes works by distinguished artists: Richard Toglia, Luis Gallinat, Marcy Sabo, Teri M. Bartolo, Felice Celikyol, Janice Szczyglinsky/Accles, Della Romano, Shirley Kayne, Marylou Romano, Gene Stickel, Alev Necile Dinc, and Lynn Early. These artworks include a variety of subjects and styles, from realism, impressionism, and abstraction, to symbolism, folk art, and commentary, using a wide range of mediums and materials. Whatever your taste in art, you’re sure to see something you will like.

The Brookdale Artists Workshop is an “Open Studio” that meets every Tuesday, 10am – 3pm, in residence at the Brookdale Reformed Church, located at 10 Bellevue Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. The entrance is next to Brookdale Park on the border of Upper Montclair. Everyone interested in working as an artist in an open space is welcome. All mediums and skill levels are acceptable.
