Longevity, Esprit de Corps, Community Celebrated at Brookdale ShopRite

Brookdale ShopRite owner Neil Greenstein (left) with Bobby Garrabrant, who is celebrating 50 years working at the store!

In a world where change is unpredictable yet expected, the “family” of associates and management at family-owned Brookdale ShopRite represents the exact opposite. And it’s a reason for owner Neil Greenstein to celebrate, recognize and thank his staff who have proven reliable, dedicated and committed over the years. This caring corporate culture is what makes the store stand out from the rest as a “supermarket with a heart.”

The annual event draws a crowd of managers, cashiers, and staff from every department. There are fruit platters and snacks, award pins, hugs, handshakes, and a whole lot of laughs. But strongly resonating within the group is mutual appreciation and gratitude from those who Greenstein says “support each other and our customers every day.” Like a family reunion, Greenstein talked about the highs and lows, people with whom he trained under, launching stores and services, celebrating birthdays and even witnessing some marriages!

Congratulations to all the associates – celebrating their 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 45, years of service – who many of us recognize in and outside of Brookdale ShopRite.

Longevity and excellence in service is celebrate and recognized with a plaque.

Remarkable milestones reached: Rosemary Del Pizzo – 40 years, Assistant Store Manager George Hoey, Customer Service Associate Jolene Marshall, and Butcher Ron De Caito all celebrated 45 years at Brookdale ShopRite.
RIP Paul Neczepir, a long-time store managers passed away this year.

Special shoutout to Bobby Garrabrant for his amazing 50th anniversary!
