Brookdale ShopRite in Bloomfield intoduced new, one-way aisles to promote social distancing and improve traffic flow while helping shoppers maintain social distancing.
Brookdale ShopRite shared the initiative on social media, stating: “Please be mindful of the blue arrows when navigating our store, remember to be kind and patient to others around you as we all adapt to this new pattern, and respect social distancing by staying 6 feet apart. Thank you!”
The store has also installed Plexiglass dividers at checkout lanes and customer service areas to better protect customers and cashiers.
“Our associates are working hard to replenish shelves, run checkouts and help everyone get the fresh foods and supplies they need to take care of their families. I’m proud of their dedication to our community and inspired by the many acts of kindness I’ve seen in recent weeks among staff and customers in stores,” says Brookdale ShopRite owner Neil Greenstein.
