Governor Murphy Orders Beauty Salons, Barber Shops, Tattoo Parlors, Nail Salons Closed

Gov. Phil Murphy ordered all personal care businesses — spas, barber shops, tattoo parlors, beauty, hair and nail and lash salons — in New Jersey to close Thursday at 8 p.m., until further notice, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The news comes as Murphy announces the latest numbers in New Jersey, four new fatalities, bringing the total to nine in the state.

Murphy announced that New Jersey now has at least 742 known coronavirus cases.
