MONTCLAIR ELECTION POLL: Candidates Discuss Issues at Forum, Who Impressed You Most

The League of Women Voters of the Montclair Area hosted its Montclair 2020 candidates forum remotely Wednesday night. The forum will be rebroadcast on TV34 and can also be viewed here:

Candidates discussed issues affecting Montclair including the creation of a senior center in Montclair, rent control, development and affordable housing, renewable energy, the need for more parking, the concept of shared services, and how to help residents, as well as businesses trying to survive, who have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

David Cummings, who is running unopposed, was not asked any direct questions, but was able to give a one-minute statement.
