Brad Finkel of Hoboken Farms and Steve Prato of Joe Tea wanted find a way to keep feeding people who are staying at home due to social distancing.
“A lot of people are afraid to go to stores or if they are, they are having trouble getting what they want,” says Finkel. “We wanted to find a way to efficiently serve our local communities that are hungry.”
Their idea — a “for the moment” home delivery service that is healthy, local, and convenient — has gotten a great response.
“We are getting three times the orders we expected within 24 hours of launching,” says Finkel, who is especially glad to serve older residents with No Contact deliveries of artisan bread, local cheese, meats, poultry, fish, pasta and more (including Hoboken Farms sauce and Joe Tea and Joe Chips of course).
“We see a lot of people ordering for their parents who can’t go out and are having trouble getting food,” says Finkel.
Order online ($25 minimum purchase, no delivery fee) to get your purchases delivered right to your home (you’ll be notified of when to expect your no-contact delivery left at the location you prefer).
