Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan New Jersey Remains Open, Changes Service Model

Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan New Jersey (PPMNJ), which serves Essex, Hudson and Passaic counties, remains open to serve patients. Three out of five health centers are open with some changes to operating hours.

PPMNJ CEO Roslyn Rogers Collins notes “This is a crucial time for Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan New Jersey to continue serving our patients. Access to reproductive healthcare is critical, particularly in these times when many men and women may not have access to other medical providers.”

The health and safety of staff and patients from the spread of the coronavirus is very important to PPMNJ. In an effort to adhere to social distancing recommendations, PPMNJ has made changes to its service model to reduce the amount of people in one area.
