Elisa and Robert Bildner, residents of Montclair for over 30 years, will talk (virtually) about their book “Berkshires Farm Table Cookbook,” this Wednesday, June 24 at 8 p.m. The Bildners will be interviewed by Dale Russakoff, Montclair resident and author of “The Prize.”
The Bildners have kept a home in the Berkshires for the last 35 years. Through their passion for the Berkshires, their love of food, and their son Rafi’s farming project, they realized they didn’t really know who the farmers of the Berkshires were. Four years of interviewing the farmers, and a collaboration with chef Brian Alberg, vice president of culinary development for Main Street hospitality — developed 125 recipes inspired by the farms and farm-to-table restaurants visited in the cookbook. This is the best of the Berkshires’ homegrown food from noted farms to esteemed kitchens.
