Montclair Crime: Anti-Semitic Chalk Message On Road, Incidents of Theft

June 24, 2020 (Hillside School): The caller reports that his bicycle was stolen from the area near the entrance of the school.
June 24, 2020 (Church Street): The complainant reports that three dollars in cash and multiple personal documents were stolen from a backpack that he left momentarily unattended.
June 24, 2020 (Essex Avenue): The complainant reports that her son’s bicycle was stolen from the area of the soccer field.
June 25, 2020 (Parkway): The complainant reports that a box containing $1,280 worth of clothing was stolen from the interior of her vehicle.
June 25, 2020 (Lincoln Street): The complainant reports that two air conditioning units were stolen from the side of his residence.


June 27, 2020 (Macopin Road): The caller reports finding the name of an anti-Semitic website that promotes Holocaust denial written in chalk on the road.

Suspicious Incident
June 24, 2020 (Bell Street): Police responded on a report of a thin, white male, last seen wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt, and a black hat checking door handles to motor vehicles. There was no evidence of entry being gained to any motor vehicles in the area. The suspect was not located.
