Montclair Mutual Aid continued its outreach efforts Saturday, giving out free books, magazines and sweet treats at Glenfield Park. Reading materials were available for readers ages 5 to adult.
Montclair Mutual Aid member Aminah Toler tells Baristanet that the books and magazines came from Magliteracy.org, an organization that delivers literacy to end poverty, thanks to Montclair Mutual Aid member Jessica Carter’s efforts.

The rest of the books were donated from people in town, with a large donation from Melissa DiMarco, who heard about the book fair and was able to donate books from house she was working at as part of her home cleanout/estate sale service she offers.
Gelati by Mike’s Mike Guerriero made the day even sweeter by donating 100 cups of gelato!
