On Sunday, September 13, 2020, at 4 p.m., the Montclair Public Library will kick off the Fall/Winter 2020 season of Open Book / Open Mind Online, a live webcast version of the popular, long-running literary conversation series, with a conversation with Christina Baker Kline about her latest book, “The Exiles.” The event is a co-presentation with Succeed2gether’s Montclair Literary Festival. After the discussion, audience members can participate in a virtual Q&A session with the author.
A #1 New York Times bestselling author of eight novels, including “Orphan Train,” and “A Piece of the World,” Christina Baker Kline is published in 40 countries. Her novels have received the New England Prize for Fiction, the Maine Literary Award, and a Barnes & Noble Discover Award, among other prizes, and have been chosen by hundreds of communities, universities and schools as “One Book, One Read” selections.
