The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center has made the decision to close the Museum for in-person visits by the general public through the end of 2020, it announced Friday.
“In light of rising rates of COVID-19 infection in our community and across the country, and despite implementing an extensive set of health guidelines and protocols to protect the public, our team no longer feels we can open our doors to visitors and staff in such a way that ensures their safety,” the Museum shared in a letter to members and friends.
The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center had reopened to visitors in late September.
The Museum stated that it continue to offer remote programs that connect community around a love of sports and provide daily virtual field trips for children that engage mind, body and imagination.
