The holiday season feels a little different in 2020, but one thing is the same. The Saxum Elf returned to Montclair on Monday, and you can spy him sitting high atop 475 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair Center. This is the third holiday season that the Saxum Elf, a gigantic figure, measuring almost 12 feet tall, has brought holiday cheer to rooftops in Montclair.
“The community of Montclair has been incredibly welcoming to Saxum for the past couple of years and we are privileged to continue being a part of this wonderful town. In a year full of surprises, we hope this surprise is one that will raise people’s spirits.” Anthony Rinaldi, Founder & Managing Principal.
Saxum Real Estate currently owns four buildings in Montclair. 475 Bloomfield, the current home of the elf, is a three-story, 25,000 square foot asset located in the heart of downtown Montclair. Historically operated as a local bank branch, the property boasts the traditional architecture of yesteryears’ banks with a grand raised roof featuring a large skylight, marble interior and meticulous architectural details throughout. Saxum is currently renovating the property into high-end boutique office and retail spaces, and expects to deliver the building in 2021.
