Another weekend is upon us! There are so many activities to enjoy and plenty of family fun for everyone!
Beginning today, The Growing Stage will present The Life & Adventures of Santa Claus. Your ticket will allow for unlimited streaming through January 3rd. Before the tale created by toy stores and corporations, L. Frank Baum, the author of The Wizard of Oz, wrote down his own magical biography of the man called Santa Claus. This is Baum’s American mythology which celebrates the greatest gift we share with each other – love. Streaming price is $25 per family and the show is recommended for the entire family. Estimated running time is 90 minutes. The production will be filmed at The Historic Palace Theatre.

For kids who can’t get enough of ice, here’s a game that should keep them occupied for a little while: DIY Mini Ice Rink! You’ll essentially freeze water in a glass baking dish to form the rink. Kids can skid little figurines across the ice for some figure skating or you can build goals with LEGOS and slide buttons around to play hockey. This article is full of ideas!
Crafts that become games are the best because they are two activities in one! This Snowman Bowling game is just that. Use toilet paper tubes to make the snowmen and decorate them with pipe cleaners, pom poms, or anyway you like. You can find a tutorial here, but once you have the general idea, you can probably change things up to use whatever you have around the house.
