New Jersey opened a call center on Monday morning to help people who have questions or need help scheduling an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, especially seniors who may have experienced difficulty or do not have access to a computer or smart phone.
The call center will be staffed with live agents from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The number to call is 1-855-568-0545.
More than 500,000 vaccine doses have been administered in New Jersey – including 65,583 long-term care facility residents and staff.
“We are pushing forward as best we can with the limited resources we have been provided,” Murphy said.
More than 2 million New Jersey residents have registered online to get the vaccine.
