Montclair, N.J. – A sufficient number of Department of Community Services (DCS) employees have returned to work after absences due to the COVID-19 pandemic for the Township to resume the normal curbside recycling collection schedule on Monday, March 15.
The Wednesday and Friday drop-off service at the DCS yard will be eliminated next week. Saturday drop-off will continue with the 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. extended hours for the next two weeks: March 20 and 27. Regular Saturday drop-off hours – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – will resume on April 3.
“The Council and I thank our residents for their patience and understanding during the interruption of our recycling collection,” said Mayor Sean Spiller. “We are grateful that our employees are back in good health and can continue to provide this essential service to the community.”
