Joan Garry to Speak at The Montclair Foundation Nonprofit Roundtable Series

The Montclair Foundation is excited to announce that Joan Garry has agreed to present a virtual workshop for our local nonprofit community at the upcoming Nonprofit Roundtable event on June 10th at Noon.

The topic, How to Turn Your Board into Fundraising Machines!, will not only be thought-provoking and engaging but knowing Joan, humorous as well!

The Montclair Foundation brought back the Nonprofit Roundtable series in 2017 and has hosted dozens of workshops and networking events for the nonprofit community. The roundtable is an educational event series where nonprofit professionals are able to network with one another, discuss common challenges, share helpful resources, and find opportunities to collaborate. Over the last year all events have been virtual.

Joan released her new book, Joan Garry’s Guide to Nonprofit Leadership: Because the World is Counting on You, several months ago and is encouraging participants to purchase her book. It is a must-read book for nonprofit leaders and board members. Independent community bookstore Watchung Booksellers will fulfill the purchase and shipping of orders to the attendees.

If you are not on the roundtable list, and work for a nonprofit, we would love to include you in our roundtables. Please email development@montclairfoundation.org for more information and to join the group.

The Montclair Foundation is a nonprofit that awards grants to charitable organizations in the greater Montclair area. Equally important to the Foundation is its commitment to the historic preservation of The Van Vleck House & Gardens and the role it plays in the educational enrichment and cultural enjoyment of the community. The Foundation serves as a vehicle for those who wish to make lasting investments in our community’s future through philanthropic contributions and bequests.
