“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Out Montclair for our screening this Saturday and look forward to continuing our collaboration during the 10th annual Montclair Film Festival, Montclair Pride 2022, and beyond,” said Tom Hall, Executive Director, Montclair Film.

“One of the founding principles of Out Montclair was to include art in nearly everything we do,” said Peter Yacobellis, President of Out Montclair. “Montclair Film has long been a destination for artists and a point of pride for our community as one of the preeminent artistic institutions in the State of New Jersey and nationwide. This partnership will elevate LGBTQ stories and increase understanding and acceptance for all in our community. We couldn’t be more excited for the year ahead together.”

The first event will take place this Saturday, June 26th at Lackawanna Plaza and feature a free screening of the film “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar,” which includes scenes filmed in Montclair. The venue opens at 7:00pm.
