Students and faculty from School of Rock Montclair will present Tunes for Food, a food drive concert that will benefit Toni’s Kitchen. The event will take place at Van Vleck House & Gardens in Montclair on Sunday, 7/18 at 2pm.
“Toni’s Kitchen is one of our favorite charitable organizations in Montclair,” says Kevin March, General Manager of School of Rock Montclair. “We’re hoping that this festive event at the beautiful grounds of Van Vleck Gardens will get lots of music fans to join us for an afternoon of fun, incredible performances, and donations of piles of food that will help our neighbors in need.”
Performers at Tunes for Food will include:
Chasing Paragon (2:00pm) – featuring SoR MTC students Dylan Nieradka, Nicole Nieradka, and Angelo Limentani
SoR MTC’s House Band (3:00pm) – featuring SoR MTC students Anthony Puluse (drums, keyboard, vocals), Bella Puluse (bass, vocals), Sean Halpin (drums), Kyla Gilmore (keyboard), Dylan Nieradka (guitar), Nikki Nieradka (bass, vocals), Isobel Middleton (bass, guitar), Ben Linietsky (bass), Angelo Limentani (drums), Skye Hall (vocals), Eliza Bender (bass, vocals), and Stuart Gold (guitar). Set list will include hits by Paramore, the Foo Fighters, Olivia Rodrigo, Sly & The Family Stone, Twisted Sister, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, and more.
SoR MTC’s faculty band (4:00pm) – featuring Billy Smolen, Chris Barnett, Dylan Maulucci, Lea Bourinaris, Joe Billy, Kevin March, Lewis Robinson, Matt Billy, Stu Damm, Theresa Abou-Daoud, and Mark Dollar
Tunes for Food will take place at Van Vleck House & Gardens, 21 Van Vleck Street in Montclair, on Sunday, 7/18 from 2pm to 5:30pm. Doors will open at 1:30pm. Admission is free.
Attendees are urged to bring the following food donations to support Toni’s Kitchen: cans of tuna, cans of beans, boxes of breakfast cereal, and jars or cans of pasta sauce.
