East Orange Girl Found Safe In Harlem; Mother Charged With Endangerment

Essex County Prosecutor’s Office announced they found Jashyah Moore safe but have charged her mother with endangerment.

Jashyah Moore, 14, of East Orange, who was last seen on October 14, was found safe Friday in Harlem.

“Jashyah is currently safe and is being provided all appropriate services. She will be returned to New Jersey shortly,” Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens said.

Stephen also announced that Jashyah’s mother, Jamie A. Moore, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
