The week in Montclair crime from Sergeant Terence Turner, Montclair Police Department:

Burglary / Theft

November 4, 2021 (Bloomfield Avenue): The complainant reported that his Bloomfield Avenue apartment was entered at some point between November 2, 2021 and November 4, 2021. Multiple watches and an emerald ring were reportedly removed from a closet.

November 5, 2021 (Duryea Road): The resident reported that his 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from his driveway during the overnight hours. The keys to the vehicle were accidently left in a gym bag within the vehicle.

November 5, 2021 (Grove Street): The resident reported that he parked his 2016 Mercedes Benz S500 running in his driveway. The vehicle was recovered in Elizabeth, NJ on November 7, 2021.

November 9, 2021 (Pine Street): The victim reported that his bicycle was stolen from the bike rack at the Bay Street Train Station. The bicycle was described as a black 20 inch Trek Vita Sport.

Arrests

November 2, 2021 (Bloomfield Avenue): A 49-year-old Glen Ridge man was charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop.

November 7, 2021 (Bloomfield Avenue): A 40-year-old Mountainside woman was charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop.
