Don’t miss the Montclair premiere of “Gone Too Soon: The Life, Legacy and Loss of Newark’s Cultural Icons,” a documentary that examines the lives and documents the artistic, cultural, and educational contributions, of several of Newark’s cultural icons among them: Cephas Bowles, Amiri Baraka, Breya “Blkbrry Mollassez” Knight, Halim Suliman, Rodney Gilbert, Dr. Clement Alexander Price, Charles Cummings, Dr. Robert Curvin, Russell Murray, Jerry Gant, and Kabu Okai-Davies. Film screening followed by a conversation and Q&A with director/producer Celeste A. Bateman and panelists.
