AAPI Montclair Color Run Sold Out; Volunteers Still Needed!

MONTCLAIR, NJ– AAPI Montclair is hosting its first Color Run on Sunday, April 3, 2022 to celebrate the Spring festivals of Holi and Songkran. Holi is a popular Hindu festival, also known as the “Festival of Colors” and the “Festival of Spring” where entire streets and towns turn red, green and yellow as people throw colored powder into the air and splash them on others. While the tickets for the races are sold out, people can still get involved by volunteering at the run. All proceeds raised will support AAPI Montclair’s mission to create a more inclusive community by uplifting the varied experiences of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, advocating for AAPI rights and representation, and promoting awareness and education around AAPI culture and history.


AAPI Montclair is a grassroots organization of over 600 Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the Montclair, NJ area. We are a space to share experiences and help unify our voices to create action and representation for our community. We welcome all AAPIs and parents of AAPI children in the Montclair, NJ area.
