S.O.F.I.A. Invites Men to Education Luncheon to Eradicate Domestic Violence

East Orange, NJ. – Healthy communities take effort, and you’re invited to contribute your ideas and hands-on commitment! Together with East Orange Mayor Ted Green and the East Orange City Council, Start Out Fresh Intervention Advocates (S.O.F.I.A.) is pleased to invite the community to participate in the first DIVINE MEN educational luncheon to commit to working to eradicate domestic violence in our communities.

On Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 11 AM – 2 PM, well-meaning men will gather at Elmwood United Presbyterian Church at 135 Elmwood Avenue in East Orange to be inspired by our featured speakers, hold round-table discussions, share resources, and organize to build healthy relationships and defeat domestic violence. The goal is for participants to exchange ideas, commit to actions, and bring inspiration back to their communities, organizations, and places of business.

Thanks to event sponsors, this luncheon is free and open to the public. A box lunch will be served. However, there are limited seats due to COVID restrictions, so register soon. Participants must be fully vaccinated and wear a mask. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe.
