Winter Native Plant Walk at Brookdale Park, March 19

The Essex Chapter of the Native Plant Society of New Jersey invites you to join naturalist Jean Greeley at the Brookdale Park Pollinator Garden to learn how to identify the standing winter skeletons of some important pollinator plants. We will also discuss the many benefits native plants offer to both wildlife and our own gardens during the winter months. The event will last about ninety minutes and will start from the parking lot above the stadium; best to enter the park from Bellevue Ave. and follow West Circuit Drive to the parking area on the left. There is no need to register or RSVP. See you there!
