Montclair, NJ – Celebrate Library Week with Montclair Public Library and the Buy A Book Challenge.
“National Library Week is celebrated throughout the country,” says Interim Library Director Janet Torsney. “In Montclair, we are celebrating with a Buy A Book Challenge to enrich our children’s collection. Join us as we support all children and encourage them to be enthusiastic readers!”
From April 3 to April 9, The Montclair Public Library Foundation is asking donors to join the Buy A Book Challenge with a gift of $20 for a hardcover book or $50 for an eBook or audiobook. Donations can be made online at bit.ly/buy-a-book-challenge.
“We are especially grateful that a generous donor will match each contribution,” continues Torsney. “This individual will give an additional book to the Library for every book that is donated – so every gift has twice the impact! “ The Buy A Book Challenge goal is to raise the funds to buy 500 new books
The Buy A Book Challenge will add new fiction and nonfiction titles, expand the Library’s graphic novel collection, and enhance literacy skill-building resources (such as High/Low books, eBooks, and Wonder books).
