APEM Creamery Celebrates Filipino Week with Special Flavors

Bloomfield, NJ – Change up your usual ice cream order next week when APEM Creamery // Sorbetteria celebrates Filipino Week from June 9th-12th with special flavors in honor of Filipino Independence Day on June 12th.

APEM Creamery co-owner Alex Saneski is part Filipino and will offer some very unique flavors in celebration, drawing on Filipino flavors and ingredients such as Ube – the famous Filipino purple yam; Polvoron – Alex’s take on Filipino shortbread; Mais Kon Karamelo with sweet corn and caramel; Mango Float with mango, condensed milk, and cookies; plus sorbets: Kalamansi Filipino citrus; Mango Coconut and Cousin Itsay’s Fruit Salad: lychee pineapple rice pudding with cherries.

Gelato and sorbetto flavors change frequently and are posted on Instagram (@apemcreamery). Gelato and sorbets are available by the cup ($4.50-$5.85) and pint ($13) and can be pre-ordered online for pickup.

APEM Creamery // Sorbetteria is located at 870 Broad Street in Bloomfield. Hours are Thursday & Friday 2pm – 8pm and Saturday & Sunday 1pm – 8pm.
