MONTCLAIR, NJ – The Montclair Public Library Gallery, 50 South Fullerton Avenue, welcomes a group exhibition “Women In Motion” featuring 13 female creators, on view during the month of July. Like no other, the exhibition “Women In Motion” is a result of an invitation to collaborate and playfully create. Nutley based artist, Agnieszka Golasik invited 12 culturally diverse women from all walks of life to create three pieces of artwork each based on Agnieszka’s monotypes. The colorful monotypes are the golden thread of the exhibition.

Inspired by powerful personal insights, childhood memories, mystic visions – the 36 artworks exhibited in “Women In Motion” are created by women who said yes to creative playfulness. Co-curated by Agnieszka Golasik and Aneta Pierog-Sudol “Women In Motion” features: Agnieszka Zabawa, Aneta Pierog-Sudol, Dhyāna Kluth, Lisa Guillard, Lisa Schrager, Lovlee Tang, Meaghan Bates Lorenz, Michele Caprio, Paola Linares, Paula Liberis, Ronya Dones, and Tatiana Smith. They are busy mothers, artists, teachers, activists, entrepreneurs and healers who, constantly in motion, carved out the time from the daily grind to nurture the creative spark each of us carries inside. This exhibit illustrates the contemplative, spirited and luminous feminine nature they possess and how it connects them.
