Visit An Open Summer Garden in South Orange

South Orange, NJ – The Essex Chapter of the New Jersey Native Plant Society is pleased to present a very special event on Thursday, July 21, (Raindate: Friday, July  22). Come to see this lovely garden, at 199 Garfield Place in South Orange, on its only Open Day, during the golden hours, 5-8 p.m, when it will be at its height of summer bloom and its peak appeal to pollinators! Like many established home gardens, it is in transition, with traditional ornamental plants already in place but more and more natives added over time. Staff from the Native Plant Society will be stationed around the grounds to answer questions and talk about the planting. This is a free event and light refreshments will be available. Questions?
