Montclair, NJ –Tony Turner Photography announces the second exhibit of Tony Turner Dance Photography, an installation presented at Montclair Public Library, September 1 – September 29. The exhibit includes photographs of “Beach Sessions” at Rockaway Beach to photographs from a studio session with Maurice Chestnut. A larger version of this exhibit was first presented at the Morristown Library March to April 2021. At Montclair Public Library, the exhibit is free and open to the public.


ABOUT TONY TURNER

Tony Turner comes from a family of artists. Influenced by his father Juanca Turner, a graphic artist and photographer, Tony has been drawing since he could hold a pencil. He began with 35mm photography and was later trained in graphic design from free-hand drawing to computer graphics. Tony has taught photography to students in Newark and Paterson, New Jersey. He is known for his work with Polaroid photography, his special attention to event photography, and his impressive list of celebrities and politicians. A resident of Montclair, New Jersey, he is the local photographer for “Dance on the Lawn: Montclair’s Dance Festival,” the Montclair Literary Festival, and is one of Montclair Film Festival’s well sought-after photographers. Tony’s work has been presented and sold at the annual Wassaic Festival and gala and has been seen in various print publications including Montclair Local, The New York Amsterdam News and The New York Times.
