Montclair, NJ – Montclair lost beloved baseball great Yogi Berra in 2015, but the legend lives on in a new documentary.

Montclair Film announced today a special preview screening of the Yogi Berra documentary IT AIN’T OVER on Thursday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. at The Clairidge, 486 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair, in partnership with the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Director Sean Mullin and Yogi’s eldest granddaughter and subject in the film, Lindsay Berra.

An intimate portrait of a misunderstood American icon, this emotional and uplifting documentary about Yogi Berra takes us beyond the caricatures and “Yogi-isms,” and into the heart of a sports legend whose unparalleled accomplishments on the baseball diamond were often overshadowed by his off-the-field persona.

“Yogi Berra was both a national treasure and very much a local hero, having raised his family here in Montclair,” said Eve Schaenen, Executive Director of the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center. “We are especially thrilled to partner with Montclair Film to bring a sneak peek of this film to the community Yogi called home for so many years.”

“Thank you to the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center for partnering with us on this event. We can’t wait to be able to share this film with our audiences as it captures the heart of this legendary figure,” states Beth Gottung, Co-Head/Executive Director of Montclair Film.

Yogi Berra merchandise will be available for purchase and memorabilia will be on display.

Tickets are $27 for Montclair Film Members and $30 for non-members. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales from this special screening will directly support the education programs of the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center on the campus of Montclair State University.
