Quickly, securely and conveniently shred documents and support the Friends of the Library at the same time! All you have to do is bring your paper to the Glen Ridge High School parking lot and we’ll take care of the rest.

Suggested donation: $5.00 per box. Donations may be made by cash, check (payable to the Friends of the Glen Ridge Library) or Venmo.

DO NOT bring newspapers, magazines, photos, hardcover books, plastic binder covers, x-rays, holiday cards, and junk mail as they are not acceptable.

Please have your paper in a cardboard box or paper bag. Garbage bags will not be accepted. All boxes will be returned to you.

A volunteer will come to your vehicle to get your paper. Please have your boxes or bags to be shredded in an easily accessible location such as the trunk or backseat. This will allow our volunteers to retrieve your items safely.
