The Polar Vortex, Crazy Weather and Climate Change.

Gregory Pope, Ph.D., professor in Earth and Environmental Studies at Montclair State University will address the Montclair Society of Engineers on the polar vortex and our crazy January weather and the mechanisms by which climate change affects our weather.
Professor Pope’s research interests integrate earth science with human dimensions. His training in geology, atmospheric sciences, and ecology is the foundation for his research in environmental change, landscape dynamics, and geoarchaeology.
Be sure to come early and have some coffee and dessert.
All meetings of the Montclair Society of Engineers are free and open to the public.
