Peter Biedermann is a solo instrumental guitarist based in Green Valley, AZ that has been composing and performing for over 40 years and will be appearing for the first time in the Montclair Public Library. The common thread throughout his musical background is crossing the boundaries of music genres. This hybrid, contemporary style melds elements of American and European folk with jazz and blues shadings; underpinned by subtle ambient electronics. PB began focusing on performing original solo instrumentals beginning in 2000. The music is now being presented in intimate settings such as libraries, art galleries, house concerts, churches etc. PB will…

The Florian Schantz Jazz Combo will return to the Montclair Library to celebrate the Oktoberfest. The program will feature European and American waltzes, polkas, marches and other German “Schlager” (hits). This program will include educational narrative as well as plenty of music.
